Susie Barford Millinery is super excited to be featured as one of a small selection of luxury brands in the June 2020 issue of Condé Nast Traveller. This came as a wonderful surprise during a really hard year for all small businesses around the world due to the coronavirus pandemic. Most, if not all, major horse riding events and races have either been cancelled or made ‘crowdless’ due to the threat of Covid-19, and although all our loyal customers are still buying hats regardless of the status of play, it certainly put a bit of a dampener on our plans of representing the brand around the world this year! Being invited to be part of such a beautiful glossy magazine we have always admired and enjoyed reading certainly feels like a milestone for the team at Susie Barford Millinery HQ. With lockdown restrictions just starting to show signs of easing in many parts of Europe, things feel far more hopeful and, dare I say it, exciting again… Perhaps we can now indulge in a little day dream or two about future adventures in far off places like those featured in Condé Nast Traveller magazine. Just don’t forget to pack your couture straw hat!
